SUBMISSION REQUIREMENT
-
A vocally unedited recording of an a cappella performance from this academic year (2023-2024). You have up to 10 minutes but using the entire time is not required. This video should be a genuine representation of your group, so show us what makes you special! If you only need one song to do so, that's fine. No digital tuning of any kind, please.
-
Upload it to YouTube as an unlisted video. You will be asked to provide the unlisted URL in the online application form.
-
Please label the video with your group name, school name, as well as the following information about each song in your set: song name, original artist, soloist, arranger, and any other special performers (vocal percussionist, etc.)
RECORDING REQUIREMENTS
-
You can record all the songs separately, but if you do so, you must edit them together so that you provide MMEA with only one link to your submission. You may not stop or edit within a song; it must be a truly live performance. Please do not exceed the 10 minute allotment.
