OVERVIEW

The Maryland Music Educators Association will host the Fall 2023 In-Service Conference at Long Reach High School in Columbia, Maryland on Friday, October 20, 2023.

 

Current, retired, and future educators from around the region are invited to attend. This conference is a great time to connect with colleagues from around the Maryland area. Attendees will learn applicable, pedagogy-based proven practices from fellow Marylanders and national clinicians.

MARYLAND HIGH SCHOOL TENOR/BASS DEMONSTRATION CHORUS

The Maryland Choral Educators Association (MCEA) is delighted to offer the Maryland High School Tenor/Bass Demonstration Chorus again this year. MMEA is offering price points for active members, first/second year educators, retired members, collegiate/student members as well as a non-member rate.

The Early Bird Double Conference Registration Package for MMEA/NAfME Members is now closed. This package does not include the Fall In-Service Lunch or any hotel accommodations.

Active/new educator registration prices will increase by $20.00 for on-site registration. Retired educators and collegiate/student (members and non-members) prices will increase by $10.00 for on-site registration. Please join/renew here.

MMEA is hosting a conference lunch. This lunch is complimentary for first/second year or retired educators. All other attendees may choose to add-on lunch for $15 per person or bring their own lunch. Please note that lunch is available by pre-order only and must be purchased by the pre-registration deadline of October 11, 2023.

Registrations will be processed through Eventbrite. All transactions are final and non-refundable unless MMEA Leadership cancels the event. In the event of cancellation, participants will have the opportunity to request a refund within 30 days of the cancellation. Credit card processing and platform fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Invoicing - Districts, schools, or organizations can request invoicing for five (5) or more conference registrations. Please contact MMEA staff at mmeamarylandinfo@gmail.com for more information. Invoicing is only available at Early Bird/Member/Non-Member pricing. “Recommended Registration Rate” is not available for invoicing.

Late Fee Policy - Invoices not paid within 60 days will be assessed a late fee. Invoice totals of $100 or less will be assessed a late fee of $20.00. Invoices over $100 will be assessed a 20% late fee, not to exceed $500.

*MMEA is dedicated to ensuring all MMEA/NAfME Members seeking resources have the access they need. As such, members may choose a “Recommended Registration Rate” option for this Fall In-Service.​​ This option is ONLY available to members for the Fall In-Service. The Add-on Lunch and the Annual Conference in February is not available at a “Recommended Registration Rate” option.
